Wasn’t it a gorgeous weekend? There is no better way to begin a weekend than in worship. We had a joyous worship. I know I say it often, but this is a great place to worship.
Then Susan and I took Abigail out for lunch for her birthday, while the rest of the tribe prepared for her surprise party. Then Becky and I took her to a movie and a little shopping. By the time we got home most everyone was there. And surprise! It was fun and she was surprised.
Then on the 4th, we played lots of games out side and enjoyed the beautiful day. Later, we went to Pendleton and watched the skydivers and the fireworks. Lovelie asked if those were real people jumping out of the plane. We were seated right by the landing spot, so they came in right over our heads. That was way cool!
We also got to see some friends at the park. That is always fun, and the fireworks were great this year. It is also a wonderful opportunity to talk to Wisken and Lovelie about being an American. Still, we have a hard time convincing Abby the fireworks were not for her birthday. Finally we gave up.
Hope your weekend was filled with blessings too.

the best part of my weekend was your sermon! I ve repeated the three main statements of faith about 20 plus times since you asked us to repeat them to you ! The holy spirit sure took control of your sermon and made a huge imprint on my heart and faith. SO just today I received a facebook message from God (its a facebook app) and Id like to share it with you-
On this day, God wants you to know
… that all is well. All is going according to plan. Trust that there is a bigger picture. Trust that life is unfolding as it should.
What a perfect wrap up following sundays sermon, What, Me? Worry?.
I ll see you next time I m in Buffalo!
